Brahma Kumaris Nepal celebrated Rakhi festival with much fanfare, zeal and enthusiasm. On the occasion service of tying Rakhi to different vvips was done from the very morning by Brahma Kumari Raj didi, Director of Brahmakumaris Nepal.

Hon’ble President of Nepal Mrs. Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Hon’ble Prime Minister of Nepal Mr. KP Sharma Oli, Mr. Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Speaker of House of Representative, Police General Inspector Mr. Sarbendra Khanal, Ambassador of India to Nepal Mr. Manjeev Singh Puri, Deputy Chief of Mission Dr. Ajaya Kumar were tied rakhi respectively at their residence by her. On the occasion they also lauded the work done by Brahama Kumaris in the field of purity, peace, happiness and spreading the atmosphere of good wishes and harmony.

Another group led by Brahma Kumari Kiran behn went to residences of former President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Populatin Mr. Upendra Yadav to do the service of tying rakhi. They also went to Ministers’ quarter and tied Rakhi to different ministers viz. Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Minister for  Education, Science & Technology Mr. Giriraj Mani Pokheral, Minister for  Physical Infrastructure and Transportation Mr. Raghubir Mahaseth, Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Mr. Gokarna Bista, Minister for  Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, Minister for Federal Affairs & General Administration Mr. Lal Babu Pandit, Minister for Finance Mr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada. Yet another group tied Rakhi to Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Mr. Ishwor Pokherel and various other dignitaries.

Similarly, every center observed Rakhi festival and tied Rakhi to local dignitaries in around their centres. Sister also went to different Police and Army cantonments, different hospitals, Old aged home, Anti drug center, all prisons etc and performed the service of tying Rakhi . Narayagarh sub zone, Birgunj sub zone, Janakpur sub zone, Biratangar sub zone also tied Rakhi to different Provinces Head, Chief Minister, Provincial Ministers, parliamentarians and local dignitaries.

Thousands of Baba’s children and VVIPs, VIPs visited Thamel Center and tied Rakhi from the hand of Raj didi. Tens of thousands of Rakhi enclosed with printed spiritual message were dispatched to different government institutions, police units, army units, Banks, Political parties, Ambassadors of Resident Embassy in Nepal etc. This way with the grace of Bapdada and Dadiji Rakhi festival became one of occasions to spread Baba’s message to thousands of souls.
