Final farewell with emotional tribute to respected Brahmakumari Sheela Didi of Kathmandu
आदरणीय राज दिदी जी किरण बहन, पन्जाव लुधियाना से आये हुये उनके परिवार जन ब्रह्माकुमारी प्रकाश दिदी, बवली बहन, अरुणा बहन, कोमल बहन तथा एभन भाई ने भी अपने तरफ से श्रद्धाञ्जलि दी । विशेष करके मधुवन तपोभूमि से आदरणीय दादी जी, मुन्नी दिदीजी, वरिष्ठ भ्राता निर्वैर जी, बृजमोहन जी, करूणा जी, मृत्यूञ्जय जी, डा. वनारसीलाल जी के द्वारा प्यार भरी याद के साथ भेजा हुआ चादर, चन्दन की माला और चन्दन चढाकर ब्रह्माकुमार अमरपति भाई ने श्रद्धासुमन अर्पण किया । काठमाण्डू अन्तरगत के सब जोन, विराटनगर, राजविराज, विरगंज हेटौडा, नारायणगढ से पधारे हुये भाई बहनों ने भी भावपूर्ण श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पण किया । इस तरह श्रद्धासुमन की विधि को पूर्ण करके उनको अन्तिम विदाई दी गई और उनके पार्थिव शरीर का अन्तिम संस्कार किया गया ।

Rajyogini, Tapaswini, and Balbrahmacharini, Brahmakumari Sheela Didi, who was dearly loved by BapDada, received the exceptional fortune of divine nurturing from Brahma Baba and Jagadamba Mamma. She devoted herself to Godly service in many cities of India and contributed to divine service in Nepal for approximately 55 years. On July 31, 2024, at the age of 80, she passed away and embraced BapDada’s lap.
Her mortal remains were kept overnight at the main service center in Kathmandu, Vishwashanti Bhavan, Thamel. Throughout the night, Brahmins engaged in meditation, offering prayers for the peace of her soul.
On the morning of August 1, a tribute was paid to her by Raj Didi Ji and other brothers and sisters with floral garlands and sandalwood. Following the tributes, her body was placed in a special glass box on a decorated truck. Accompanied by a procession of cars, motorcycles, and escorted by the Nepal Police, her body was taken on a city tour of Kathmandu before being transported to Brahmakumaris Nagarkot Gyansarovar Academy.
At the academy, a ceremonial circumambulation of the four pilgrimage sites (Chardham) was conducted. Local people, including the Ward Commissioner, paid their respects to Sheela Didi in front of Baba’s room. Her body was then taken to Pashupati Aryaghat for the final rites.ThousandsThousands of Brahmakumaris and Brahmakumars paid their heartfelt respects at Pashupati Aryaghat by offering flowers, sandalwood, and other tributes. Respected Raj Didi Ji, Kiran Behen, family members from Ludhiana, Brahmakumari Prakash Didi, Bawli Behen, Aruna Behen, Komal Behen, and Ebhon Bhai also offered their tributes. Special tributes were sent from Madhuban Tapobhumi by respected Dadi Ji, Munni Didi Ji, senior brothers Nirwair Ji, Brijmohan Ji, Karuna Ji, Mrityunjay Ji, and Dr. Banarsilal Ji, which was presented by Brahmakumar Amarapati Bhai.
Brothers and sisters from all zones within Kathmandu, as well as from Biratnagar, Rajbiraj, Birgunj, Hetauda and Narayangadh also offered their heartfelt tributes. After the tribute ceremony, Sheela Didi was given a final farewell and her mortal remains were cremated.

In celebration of the Hindu festival of Dashain, the Brahmakumari Rajyoga Centre in Jyatha, Thamel, hosted a special Greetings Program that attracted a large number of devotees. The event, held with great reverence, allowed attendees to receive tika from Raj Didi, a respected senior member of the Centre, symbolizing blessings for prosperity and wellbeing.
A highlight of the event was the beautifully adorned Chaitanya Durga Devi Jhaki, which provided a divine ambiance and added to the spirit of the festival. Alongside the tika ceremony, participants enjoyed a series of cultural programs, underscoring Nepal’s rich heritage and bringing the community together in celebration.
The program was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Suraj Chandra Lamichhane, a representative from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of Bagmati Province, who joined the Director of the Brahmakumaris Nepal, Rajyogini Raj Didi, and esteemed guest Professor Bishal Sitawola. Together, they shared messages of spiritual unity, emphasizing the importance of spreading divine energy from Durga Devi to foster positive vibrations and community harmony.
The event exemplified the essence of Dashain—a time for blessings, cultural pride, and the renewal of spiritual connections—bringing devotees together in a meaningful celebration of faith and tradition.
